💝 Day 18 of the Self Confidence Challenge – I am worthy of my ability to learn from past mistakes and craft the future and building my personal strength.

Tell yourself: I am worthy of my ability to learn from past mistakes and craft the future and building my personal strength.   Day 18 of the Self Confidence Challenge

So nice to see you swing by!  Let’s pounce right upon it:

Yesterday, I discussed the fact you’re worthy of your ability to forgive yourself.  A difficult concept, perhaps…. but one that is critical for today’s self-confidence challenge.

Why?  Because we’re going to build upon that so not only can you forgive yourself….

But you can also build your personal strength from those past mistakes… and craft the future you deserve.

Why is this so important?

Well, big huge bunches of reasons but mainly….

You’ve already gone thru the hell.

Don’t let it be in vain!

Shed your ego and give yourself permission to internalize the truths, no matter how painful….  and then build up your future … stronger than ever.

To wit:

Notice the missing Beak of Doom?  Here he was!

And make no mistake about it.

Dropping that ego of yours…. it’s tough!

It can really *hurt*.

Such pain should be honored… and then let go….

… because the lessons *learned*…. are the kinds of things that general all-purpose existence never will teach you.

Those lessons are *gold*.

So of course you had to go thru hell to gain them.

And like I said yesterday…

Treasure that wisdom.

You really did earn it…. and deserve to benefit from it.

Woot!

Obligatory Steven Universe Goodness!  Episode 7, Bubble Buddies

I adore this episode!   Steven’s best friend, Connie Maheswaran, is introduced.  She totally shines!

Here’s a clip from YouTube:

And some takes:

I so can relate to:

Connie: It’s NOT okay! You keep saying that but YOU don’t know what you’re doing! Now we’re going to suffocate or starve at the bottom of the ocean and only my parents will notice because no one else *tears up* cares about me!

Steven: Huh?

Connie: I’m gonna disappear without ever making a single friend. *tears fall from her eyes* (Connie cries and sits down.)

Steven: *offers glowing bracelet, Connie stops crying* We can be friends. I saw you at the Boardwalk Paradelast year. You dropped your bracelet. I picked it up, but then I couldn’t find you. I saved it in the freezer so it would last longer, in case I saw you again.

Good stuff indeed.

So to recap everything imaginable….

Accept the benefits of the lessons you’ve learned.

You earned them.
