Range Media Partners Hires Becky Astphan, Allegra Salke-Hussey, Two Others

EXCLUSIVE: Management firm Range Media Partners has continued to expand with the addition of Becky Astphan, Allegra Salke-Hussey, Melissa Mondello, and Colleen Bailey to its staff.

Astphan will serve as a Manager in Comedy, with Bailey to serve as an Account Executive in Brand Marketing, adding expertise in product placement and marketing promotions. Salke-Hussey and Mondello, meanwhile, will be co-heading a new Range offering called Social Marketing+, providing expert strategic guidance for how clients can show up meaningfully across the digital landscape and offering end-to-end social media marketing for global brands, talent, musicians, athletes, and others.

“Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on building the Range ecosystem as a full stack offering of best-in-class capabilities to help propel the ambitions of our clients. We are lucky to have found such exemplary specialists across Comedy, Social Media and Product Placement with Becky, Allegra & Melissa, and Colleen,” said Range CEO Peter Micelli. “They each have distinctive expertise into key evolving arenas within the broader media landscape and we couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome them to Range.”

A veteran of the comedy world, manager-producer Astphan joins from AGI, where she played a significant role in the success of such client projects as Shane Gillis’ Netflix special Beautiful Dogs, Colin Quinn and Friends: Parking Lot Comedy Show for then-HBO Max, and the hit web series Gilly & Keeves, created by and starring Gillis and John McKeever. Prior to her time at AGI, she helped establish comedy management and production company Sweet Wine Productions, also managing and producing Bar Matchless’s “NYC Broken Comedy Show” hosted by Michael Che and Nimesh Patel.

Salke-Hussey and Mondello join Range from the social marketing agency XX Artists, where Salke-Hussey served as VP of Business Development, overseeing the company’s tenfold growth in revenue. With a background in traditional entertainment representation and a deep understanding of the digital social marketing space, she’s collaborated with both well-known and up-and-coming digital talent, and worked with global tentpole brands such as Chipotle, Veuve Clicquot, The Tao Group, Google, MINI USA, and more.

At XX Artists, Mondello launched the Talent Department to represent Musicians, Talent, and other Public Figures in the digital space, helping to grow the department to over 70 clients in just four years. With nearly two decades of experience in entertainment, she has been hands-on in curating the development and marketing of social media strategies for both developing names and household legacies.

Bailey comes to Range after eight years at Movie Mogul Inc., where she repped luxury brands as well as top studios and filmmakers, specializing in product placement and brand marketing promotions. To date, she has spearheaded hundreds of successful placements in TV, Film, and music videos across nearly every brand category and studio/streamer. Bailey has also led co-branded marketing partnerships including CREED III x Hennessy, IN THE HIEGHTS x Moët & Chandon, BLUE BEETLE x Toyota, MOONFALL x Lexus, and many more.
