Telkom’s partners with content creators to elevate CX

Telkom has announced the addition of new personalities to its inventory of brand partners. The new partners range from content creators, social media influencers to media personalities. Additionally, Telkom has made strides by being voted the coolest telecommunications brand for three years in a row and becoming the third-largest mobile network service provider in the country.

The new brand influencer partners are Clement Maosa, who is an actor, content creator and TV presenter, as well as content creator family, Mzansi’s Greatest Family.

They will be joined by Mzansi’s social media couple, Rego and Dise and radio darling, Khutso Theledi, who is no stranger to the brand.

Also new to the roster is Cape Town-born and bred broadcasting talent, creative and copywriter Anton Taylor, as well as young entrepreneur and business speaker Bulelani Balabala, who will cover the business segment.

Busisiwe Thusi, a social media star and Tik Tok sensation, as well as Danielle Steynvaardt, who is an actress, motivational speaker and singer, also join the list.

One of the many inspiring reasons Telkom partnered with these new brand influencer partners is to continue to advance and promote customer education and to educate South Africans on why Telkom services and product offerings are vital in creating and encouraging a positive impact in their lives.

Telkom says that as a collective, these new brand influencers have been doing some game-changing work through their diverse forms of content creation, and they’ve also significantly been celebrated across the continent.

They join Telkom’s current brand influencer partners:

  • Mzansi sweetheart DJ Zinhle Jiyane
  • TV presenter and actor Zizo Tshwete
  • radio personality and living legend Mam Dudu Khoza
  • social media sensation, Lasizwe Dambuza
  • social media influencer Aubrey ‘Mr Airtime’ Masenyolo
  • content creator and influencer Banele Ndaba, and
  • businessman and entrepreneur, Mashudu Modau.

“Telkom is one of the landmark cultural drivers, introducing focussed socio-economic campaigns over the years — from making netball fashionable again through our premium partnership of the Netball World Cup in 2023, to sponsoring the Radio Awards. We cannot express how thrilled we are to bring together, yet again, such a dazzling array of talented, innovative brand influencers to be part of this amazing and much-needed customer education campaign,” says Telkom’s chief marketing officer Gugu Mthembu.

“This partnership will assist in developing and inspiring South Africans to integrate their lives with the digital world to help improve their lifestyles using Telkom products and services specially designed for them and their environments,” concludes Mthembu.
