Incline Village General Improvement District launches revamped website

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – The Incline Village General Improvement District is rolling out a new and improved online experience for visitors to the District’s YourTahoePlace.com website. IVGID’s new website brings a fresh design and layout to all of the District’s online presence, with enhanced accessibility, increased security and mobile-friendly design and functionality.

“We are very excited to launch our new YourTahoePlace.com website for the community here in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, as well as anyone visiting the area who wants information about the great amenities IVGID provides,” said Paul Raymore, IVGID marketing and communications manager. “This project allowed us to take a step back and reevaluate everything about how our website is designed, with the goal of making information easier to find and more accessible to all.”

Notable changes the community may notice include a consolidation of IVGID’s governmental affairs, financial transparency and administrative functions under the new “About IVGID” menu in the website navigation. There is also a new “Residents” menu item which hosts information relevant to those who live and/or own property in Incline Village and Crystal Bay, including water, sewer and trash service, IVGID passes and punch cards, and resources for sustainable living in the community.

Each of the publicly-accessible venues that IVGID manages – from the Incline Village Golf Courses to the Tennis & Pickleball Center and beyond – has a dedicated section of the website containing everything residents and visitors need to know to enjoy the recreational opportunities the District provides.

Feature wise, the upgraded site search functionality includes the ability to find specific search terms both on website pages and/or within PDF documents uploaded to the site, and the responsive-design makes navigating the website easier from mobile devices and for users with disabilities.

New CivicPlus portal for public meeting agendas and minutes

The new website also includes a home for IVGID’s new meetings and agendas portal provided by CivicPlus, which specializes in technology solutions that facilitate transparency and exceptional digital experiences for government agencies and the local residents they serve.

The new portal serves as a one-stop shop for all things IVGID public meeting-related, with digital agendas, meeting materials, meeting minutes, and live streaming video links – all of it housed in a secure portal that will make these materials more accessible across all devices and easily searchable. The CivicPlus portal lives on the new YourTahoePlace.com website under the “About IVGID” menu.

“The new CivicPlus portal will give our residents and Trustees easier access to the information they need to make informed decisions and stay engaged with all aspects of IVGID’s operations,” Raymore said. “I encourage everyone in the local community to explore the new features and subscribe to updates they are interested in receiving.”

New features enabled in the CivicPlus portal include the ability for community members to subscribe to receive email notifications about the public meetings IVGID holds – whether they are interested in Board of Trustees meetings, or board-appointed committee meetings on specific topics.

In addition, the new portal will include links directly into the video recordings of the meetings, organized by item/topic, so community members can review exactly what was discussed and decided, and how Trustees voted on an item.
