Israel-based developer of drive-through voice AI technology Hi Auto has unveiled its Voice AI Marketer Toolkit, a comprehensive suite designed to leverage customer conversations for marketing purposes in quick-service restaurants (QSRs).

The new toolkit enhances customer engagement and streamlines marketing efforts by utilising AI to maintain brand consistency and optimise customer interactions.

The toolkit supports QSRs in achieving their marketing and sales objectives while fostering brand loyalty and ensuring uniform customer experience.

High turnover of staff in the QSR industry often leads drive-through customers to interact with many employees and experience inconsistent promotion of the brand.

Hi Auto’s toolkit addresses this challenge by enabling restaurants to manage menu offerings, conduct multivariate testing and employ customised natural voices for direct customer communication.

Hi Auto’s Voice AI Marketer Toolkit offers dynamic upsell customisation, which tailors product suggestions based on factors such as time, location and weather. This allows for a more personalised customer experience.

The toolkit’s multivariate experimentation feature enables marketers to test conversation strategies in a controlled group of stores and apply adjusted scripts by marketing teams chain-wide.

The toolkit also includes options for natural and cloned voices, providing a unique and engaging ordering experience.

These features increase customer engagement by offering a more personalised interaction through the drive-through.

Hi Auto CEO Roy Baharav said: “While the operational benefits of voice AI justify the system’s adoption, there is so much more value to unlock for sales and marketing teams.

“That’s why we are investing in the Voice AI Marketer Toolkit to provide organisations with the tools they need to realise the full potential of their drive-through sales channel.

“Being the only company to date deploying drive-through voice AI at scale allows us to identify the opportunities and develop the right capabilities for our customers to maximise their return on investment.”

In August 2023, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants in the US adopted Hi Auto’s Spanish drive-through AI voice technology after a successful two-month beta test.

The technology has since been expanded to more Checkers and Rally’s franchises.
