Stay-at-home mum-of-3 who struggles to pay bills says the stress makes her sob so she’s begging strangers for help

A STAY-at-home mum has been begging strangers to help her pay bills as she is “struggling” to pay for her three kids.

The parent claimed it is “literally killing” her that she can’t provide more for her kids as she is “not doing very well financially.”

One TikTok mum is so stressed with bills it makes her cry

In a tearful clip on her TikTok account, she explained how she isn’t asking for money in a traditional sense, but said that engagement on her social media content will help her earn cash.

The mum, who is currently a student, said she had been debating whether to copy the “trend” of asking for help for “the longest time.”

She shared: “I feel awful, I’m literally desperate at this point.

“I need your help and no I don’t actually need your money, what I actually need from you is your time and engagement, likes, shares, comments, all that kind of stuff on this video.

“I’m really struggling at the minute and I don’t know how to word it without getting emotional.”

She explained how she has three little children but wanted to “do better for them” than she currently is.

During her clip, she showed herself tidying up their family house, including cleaning the kitchen, organising the children’s toys and straightening up the lounge.

She added: “I don’t want to give you a sob story but I might just do that as I can feel the tears coming.”

The mum shared how she was worried about paying her bills and feeding her children.

The mum continued: “I don’t want that for my kids.

“It is literally me that I can’t do better for them.

“I know that some of you may be thinking ‘why don’t you work then?’

“I’m a stay-at-home mum, I have three little children, eldest has additional needs so she needs a lot of support and I’m also a student.

“I am working towards a career and I really want to get to that point.

“Right now I’m struggling and I’m having a hard time.

“I just can’t help but cry, pathetic I know.”

The mum apologised on camera for getting “emotional” as she shared her story with her 115,000 followers.

Her video has racked up over 2 million views, so people clearly got behind her to help engagement on her content.

FOLLOWERS are key to monetising your TikTok account.

The more followers you have, the more likely a brand will pay you to advertise their product.

You can also use online popularity to branch into other areas, such as creating your own merchandise, promoting a YouTube channel or forging an acting and singing career like Addison Rae.

If you have over 1,000 followers on TikTok then you can start live streaming and monetising those live streams.

TikTok users can buy coins which they can give away to you during a live stream.

These coin donations can be exchanged for real money, just like on popular live stream app Twitch.

Here are a few ways to monetise your content…

  • Affiliate marketing
  • Tipping

  • Selling items
  • Design digital products

Some people, if eligible, join the TikTok Creator Fund and then TikTok pays you for content.

However, you might not earn as much as you think.

According to Mashable some top creators reported earning around 3p per 1,000 views.
