Lululemon has just unveiled its latest campaign, “Together we grow,” to get people moving. Ambassadors Park Seo-joon, Amotti, and Leah Simmons have gathered to inspire everyone to join in. The campaign also comes with a new social media challenge to unlock an array of complimentary activities across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The new “Together we grow” campaign by Lululemon strives to promote movement and improve wellness in local communities. The campaign features the ambassador collective in the brand’s signature products and showing off their moves. Through a fun social media challenge, people across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand can also join the stars in exercising together.
Lululemon ambassador Park Seo-joon debuts in new campaign
“Together we grow” is also the first time we see Park Seo-joon in his role as a Lululemon ambassador. The pictures show the actor practising his running and callisthenics. He is dressed in the Metal Vent Tech long-sleeve shirt and Pace Breaker Jogger, showcasing his physique and the clothing’s lightweight material. Through this campaign, he sheds light on mental wellness. “Together with Lululemon, I wish to encourage people to keep moving their bodies and keep connecting with others, and to find their own authentic way to be well,” he says. “I hope we can develop a culture where it’s natural to openly talk about our feelings and express emotions.”
Joining him are fellow ambassadors Amotti and Leah Simmons. The two have also had their fair share of struggles with health. However, in both cases, their community’s support helped them bounce back to where they are today. Their stories show the importance of moving together with others and building each other up. This message is what lies at the heart of the campaign and what Lululemon hopes to share with everyone.
Unlock 1 million minutes of movement with “Together we grow”
As part of the campaign, Lululemon poses a challenge to everyone: reach the collective goal of “1 million minutes of movement with others”. From now until October 12, the brand invites everyone to take part in the challenge. All you need to do is post a photo or video of yourself with one or more friends in a physical activity on your Instagram Story. Don’t forget to add the #togetherwegrow hashtag and tag @lululemonhk! For each person in your Story, 30 minutes of movement will be contributed to the company’s goal.
“By kicking off a friendly challenge, we introduce a clear, easy way for all to rally around one message,” says Nathan Chang, Lululemon’s Vice President of Brand Marketing, APAC. “That moving with others is a powerful tool to support and boost your wellbeing.”
Once the goal of 1 million minutes has been reached, Lululemon will give the same back to the community. The wellness brand will host 1 million minutes’ worth of movement activities for the local community. Better yet, it will be complimentary. Through these activities, Lululemon hopes everyone can join and embody the message of “Together we grow.”
