My Kingdom for Skoolz:
Barb Ling, Virtual Coach, reporting for duty – and oh my word, it has been a MINUTE. (A long minute. A minute that somehow ate two years and left crumbs.)
Here’s the nutshell. Walnut-sized, extra dramatic.
I basically grabbed my metaphorical luggage, waved goodbye to everything familiar, and flung myself – with zero grace and maximum enthusiasm – off the Edge of the World. Meaning? I dove into a bleepload of learning. Like, “cancel-my-social-life, talk-to-my-coffee” levels of learning.
So. Fresh start. New adventures. Let’s GO!
The Internet Has Been Busy While We Were Gone
Remember two years ago when ChatGPT dropped Custom GPTs and the entire online world lost its collective mind? People were building bots, automating everything, and basically feeling like wizards who finally got their Hogwarts letter. It was glorious.
Welp.
Fast forward to RIGHT now – and Claude Code, Cowork, OpenClaw and their equally dramatic cousins are making people absolutely SWOON. We’re talking next-level Loki powers, people. The kind where, used wisely?
These tools can practically run your whole business while you drink coffee and look important.
Used UNwisely?
They can delete every single email in your inbox. (Ask Meta’s AI Security Chief. No really. That happened! Ouch indeed.)
So of course, I grew slightly entranced, researched, and came across:
- SurveyMonkey just released a FREE Resources hub all about the art of Surveys.
- Perplexity released Perplexity Computer – spawn your own AI colleagues to manage your work!
- Claude released Claude Cowork for Windows – you tell the AI in your native language what you want it to achieve, and it *builds the app for you*. This means that even if your left earlobe codes better than your entire mind, body and soul, that’s okay! The AI will do the hard-core technical thingees for you.
Insane, the abilities it gives you, insane!
Which of course was my cue to search for Skools that would satisfy my knowledge needs.
