In a remarkable feat, McDonald’s Singapore once again claimed the coveted “Marketer of the Year” title at the 13th edition of the Marketing Excellence Awards. The fast-food giant swept the competition with an impressive haul of 10 gold, six silver, and two bronze awards.
Their innovative campaigns, such as “Grimace Digital Collectibles,” “My Happy Little Wins,” “With Love, McDSG,” “The McGriddles® Breakfast Drop,” “The Call of Crispy,” “The Great Catch,” “Winning Moments with Mobile Legends,” “Samurai & Ninja,” and “What the Hack!”, demonstrated marketing prowess across diverse categories. These included Excellence in Advertising, Excellence in Customer Engagement, Excellence in Launch Marketing, Excellence in Media Strategy, and Excellence in Mobile Marketing, showcasing their ability to resonate with audiences and deliver impactful campaigns.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group also made its mark, securing three gold, four silver, and one bronze awards. Their campaign “Data-Driven Personalisation: Revitalising Loyalty for Pan Pacific Hotels Group” won Gold in Excellence in Consumer Insights/Market Research, emphasizing the importance of data-driven strategies in today’s marketing landscape.
HSBC Bank followed closely with three gold, three silver, and two bronze awards, notably taking home gold in Excellence in Experiential Marketing for their campaign “HSBC Mind Athletes.”
Singtel emerged as a strong contender, clinching three gold and two silver awards. Notably, they secured gold in Excellence in Content Marketing for their impactful campaign, “From Mudflats to Smart Nation.”
Other notable winners included Mandai Wildlife Group, Singapore Airlines, Central Provident Fund, DBS Bank, Health Promotion Board, OCBC, and the National Arts Council, contributing to the diverse and vibrant marketing scene in Singapore.
