Netflix released the popular reality show Love is Blind UK, episodes 5 to 9, on August 14, 2024, on the platform. The seventh episode of the social experiment, Is She Good Enough For You, featured participants who got engaged and returned to the UK. These episodes also feature how engaged couples reveal their partners to their family and friends.
While some family members seemed supportive, a few had doubts, seeing how the couples fell in love with each other in such a short period. One of the couples that formed on the show is Catherine and Freddie.
They met Freddie’s family, including his mother, brother, sister and brother-in-law. Since they all have been close to the Love is Blind UK star, they shared their thoughts on the show. Freddie had a private conversation with his sister, Betsy-Dora, where she opened up and shared what she thought about the couple.
“You’re like a little Instagram couple,” Freddie’s sister Betsy-Dora shared.
Love is Blind UK: Freddie’s sister shares her thoughts about the “couple”
Love is Blind UK episode 7 featured Catherine and Freddie meeting the latter’s family, where he introduced his fiancee, Catherine. Freddie’s family members, including his mother, Wendy, his sister Betsy-Dora, his brother Jack, and his brother-in-law Chris, were showcased on the show.
When everyone was having a good time discussing various things while getting to know about Freddie’s potentially soon-to-be bride, Catherine, his sister, requested a private chat.
Betsy-Dora and Freddie went outside on the porch and sat down for their separate conversation, away from everyone else. Freddie asked his sister how he and Catherine looked together.
His sister thought that Freddie seemed a little bit “more reserved.” When she asked, Freddie revealed that,
“It’s been a crazy experience.”
He then asked whether he and his fiance seemed compatible. Betsy-Dora revealed that they looked like an “Instagram couple” and added that Catherine seemed “really nice” and “really lovely, really genuine.”
Freddie revealed that he could see himself marrying Catherine. He added that living together has had “its challenges.”
His sister told him it’s a lot of “give and take,” especially not knowing each other for that long. Betsy-Dora told Freddie not to put a lot of pressure on himself.
“You still got to be your own person,” Freddie’s sister Betsy-Dora shared.
When Freddie shared that he felt maybe he was not good enough for Catherine, his sister asked him whether she was good enough for Freddie.
Fans can explore nine episodes of Love is Blind UK on Netflix. The remaining two finale episodes will be released on August 21, 2024.
