Louie wants to make your home his home. Here’s what to know about him!
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — This Love 4 Pets features Louie in-studio with Española Humane plus Kyla and Sky also up for adoption with the City of Albuquerque.
Louie is a sweet boy who was found on Dec. 9 in somebody else’s doghouse. He survived a bad case of parvo and has bounced back to be a spicy little jalapeño of a Jack Russell terrier you can take home!
Española Humane allowed us to meet Louie in the video above and gave an update on the work with their shelter. Here is Kyla and Sky, who are also up for adoption:
Kyla is a 2-year-old red Alaskan Husky mix. She is a sweet, silly and soulful gal who loves gentle kisses and making you laugh with her wonderfully goofy expressions. Although she came to the shelter with an injury, Kyla is healing up beautifully and is ready to start her next chapter in a loving home.
Kyla enjoys taking her time on daily walks, following her nose and soaking in the world around her.

Sky is a 7-month-old tan German Shepherd mix. She is a young, curious and playful pup who has a lot of energy and loves chasing balls and toys – though she is still learning what to do with them!
Although Sky is a little shy at first, she is looking for an active home that can provide consistent guidance, training and lots of safe playtime. With patience and love, she is sure to grow into a loyal companion who will keep her family entertained and full of smiles.
