How can you not love a dog named Pat?
Pat was picked up as a stray in Baldwinsville and weighs about 50 pounds. At a year old, he still has that happy-go-lucky energy found in young dogs. And he just loves people.
At first, Pat was overly excited, likely due to a lack of training, but he’s picked up on the idea of manners very quickly. He’s eager to please (and earn treats), and learns quickly, making him a great companion for someone interested in training, agility, etc. He’s already mastered loose leash walking and knows some tricks!
Pat is also a big fan of affection, although he has a busy brain, so he has to practice sitting still for it. He is also very dog-friendly.
If you’ve been considering bringing a new pet into your life, now’s the perfect time to do it! The CNYSPCA has a fee-waived adoption event on Saturday, August 23. This applies to all pets except puppies and kittens. Call 315-454-4479 for more information.
