Does the dead communicate?

During an interview with Plug TV, Sam disclosed that the dead have no communication with the living.

Sam explained that though contact through dreams is possible, he has never seen ghosts nor experienced contact with spirits at work.

He assured that it is natural for the bereaved to feel contact with their loved one and can be a healthy part of grief.

“If you have not seen a dead body, it is not an easy experience,” said Sam.

Adding:

“They communicate. They, however, do not communicate verbally. But there is a way they talk, for instance, through dreams. Not necessarily directly. There is nothing like being at work on the night shift and hearing an echo, someone talking behind you, or tapping on the shoulder. When a person dies, that is it. I long for the day I get nightmares.”

As to weird requests, Sam revealed that some communities discourage dressing the deceased in specific clothing.

“There are tribes which do not want the deceased wearing certain undergarments. They believe that if the dead wear it, it is bad mojo for those left behind,” said Sam.

After listening to Sam, netizens admired his dedication and lauded his discretion and respect for the dead and the bereaved.

How did morgue attendant ‘finish off’ dead bodies?

In September 2023, one-time morgue attendant Magwanja Osufuche caused a storm by revealing that he used to ‘finish off’ those appearing to have life in them.

Osufuche said a person presumed dead would be hit on the back of the head with an axe before being stitched. He would be paid KSh 400 per day worked.

He was, however, allegedly hounded out of the job after the ghost of an elderly woman he had hit with an axe confronted him at around 2:00 am.
