Charlotte Flair has been out of action since December due to a severe knee injury, but she’s been working hard to recover ever since, and the Queen has shared a new video of how her recovery is going.
Charlotte Flair Showcases Her Recovery Progress
Flair was initially sidelined after tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match against Asuka on WWE SmackDown. The injury was expected to keep her out of action for nine months to a year, showcasing the severity of the situation. But in typical Flair fashion, she’s been working hard to try and shrink the amount of time she’s going to miss.
The Queen has regularly provided fans with a look at her rehabilitation journey, where she’s been visibly pushing herself and that was clear in her latest Instagram video. Flair revealed that she had undergone her first biodex test, and that she needed to be in 40 percent or less deficit for strength compared to her non-surgical leg.
Flair revealed that she had 20 percent or less quad strength and in some of the measurements she was actually stronger in her surgical leg. It’s a clear sign of how hard she’s worked and that the effort Flair has put in has been worthwhile. Flair also added that she misses the fans and can’t wait to lace her boots up again.
While there are positive signs regarding Flair’s rehabilitation process, there is still no official date or timeline for when she will be back inside the ring. Considering how big of an injury it was, it’s still expected to be at least several months before that’s a possibility.
Flair Will Inject A Lot Of Star Power Upon Her Return
Whenever Flair does return though, there’s no doubt that she’ll instantly inject a lot of star power. It’s arguable that she’s the biggest name in WWE’s women’s division, not only due to her last name, but also because of what she’s achieved throughout her own career.
Flair had been feuding with Damage CTRL before her injury, and that’s something that WWE could return to when she does comeback, if she gets moved to WWE Raw. However, a title storyline against Bayley with Flair in a heel role could also be compelling due to their history within the Four Horsewomen.
