Alicia Pet Care Center has again topped the readers’ poll for the county’s best pet clinic because the family owned, state-of-the-art full-service veterinary hospital values compassionate problem-solving through a pragmatic approach to pet care.

“Our dedicated team is a formidable ally for your pet’s improved health,” says Dr. Matthew Wheaton, owner and chief of staff. “We band together through compassion and efficient problem-solving to get down to the bottom of things as quickly as possible to ensure good outcomes.”

The center offers up-to-date diagnostics and therapies including laparoscopic surgery, laser therapy and cutting-edge diagnostic testing. Four doctors practice acupuncture, which complements other integrative therapies like stem cell treatments, platelet-rich plasma therapy and pulsed electromagnetic frequency therapy. The clinic also offers routine services like wellness and preventive treatments, spay and neuter, and dental care.

Google reviewer Janelle says the center provided “excellent service. I truly appreciate how comfortable they tried making Winston feel, though he was scared. The vet tech was wonderful, so sweet and gave amazing service. I truly feel comfortable leaving my dog in your care, and that means the world to me because he is my whole world.”

Richard says the center has “a calming feel with its decor,” and staff were “attentive to both my pup and myself.”
