Apple Might Integrate These AI Chatbots into Devices
By Movieguide® Contributor
After revealing a partnership with Open AI’s ChatGPT last month, Apple is expected to announce collaborations with other industry-leading chatbots before any of the new products reach Apple customers this fall.
Other than a recently announced partnership with OpenAI, Apple has discussed little publicly about who it plans on partnering with to bring AI to its products. However, industry insiders believe Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude are expected to join OpenAI in receiving direct integration into Apple’s products.
Assuming these chatbots receive the same integration as Open AI’s ChatGPT, Siri would defer to these products when it is asked questions it wouldn’t traditionally be able to provide a sufficient answer to.
The integration of these chatbots comes as a way for Apple to fill out its AI offerings. In June, the company announced its AI plans for the future which are expected to help Apple continue to innovate its technology — something that has held them back in recent years. Its new AI software, named “Apple Intelligence,” is being promoted as the next big leap forward, providing one of the first streamlined integrations of AI into a product.
Apple Intelligence is set to overhaul communication, allowing users to both consume and send out information much faster with the aid of AI. It will also allow for ease of access to image-generation tools, allowing even the unartistic to easily express themselves through art.
If these new features find success with the public, they could help revitalize iPhone sales, which have slowed down in recent years as new iterations offer fewer and fewer improvements over the old.
Apple Intelligence is only available on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max while also coming to Macs and iPads with an M1 chip or later.

Apple announced it is entering the AI space through “Apple Intelligence,” an update to its software that will introduce text and image generation as well as a smarter Siri.
“We’re thrilled to introduce a new chapter in Apple innovation. Apple Intelligence will transform what users can do with our products – and what our products can do for our users,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook. “Our unique approach combines generative AI with a user’s personal context to deliver truly helpful intelligence. And it can access that information in a completely private and secure way to help users do the things that matter most to them. This is AI as only Apple can deliver it, and we can’t wait for users to experience what it can do.”
A key aspect of Apple Intelligence is its assistance with communication. The update promises a slew of handy tools such as an assistant that can proofread and automatically rewrite text, AI summaries that condense long pieces of writing or lengthy audio recordings, Smart Reply in the Mail app which automatically generates responses to received emails and context-aware notifications which will raise the visibility on a text or email it deems important.
