AnalogFolk, the global independent digitally native creative agency whose mission is to use digital to make the analog world better, revered for being a pioneer in creative innovation, announces the appointment of Taylor Handsley as Head of Social to lead its social practice and elevate the agency’s social offering to clients.
The hire underscores AnalogFolk’s passion and commitment to helping brands be more culturally vibrant and achieve cultural relevance digitally*. AnalogFolk has built a social practice with proprietary tools that help brands understand what’s most valued by communities, their customs, rituals, and behaviour. Taylor will play a pivotal role in embedding AnalogFolk’s “Open Ideas” approach into every aspect of the agency’s social-first work for clients.
AnalogFolk’s work with the world’s most iconic brands has redefined digital storytelling, creating meaningful, immersive experiences that resonate deeply with audiences. Through its “Open Ideas” approach, the agency helps brands be more open when engaging in culture, allowing them to play a more relevant and meaningful role in people’s lives.
Notably, it has done this in partnership with Bayer Consumer Health with “Vagina Academy/The Truth Undressed” and “Flintstones Vitamins”, for Nike with “Magic is in the Air,” and with Costa Coffee by co-creating with their cohort audiences and bringing their ideas to life.
Based in the Netherlands, Taylor joins the team in the team Europe, bringing two decades of experience in growing brands across social and creating loyal, sustainable and engaged audiences.
She is an autistic award-winning social media marketer who has worked with brands including Amazon Fashion, Refinery29, Crocs Europe, Semrush, and JBL. Originally from the US, she’s worked extensively in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and France, creating social and influencer strategies for brands across EMEA, APAC, and the US. Her work has won numerous European Content Awards, Drum Awards, and Webby’s.
She is also a strong advocate for support for neurodivergents in the workplace and has participated in panels with Soho House, SheSays, and The Diversity Collective.
Taylor will report directly to Matt Dyke, Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder of AnalogFolk Group, and will collaborate with various departments across AnalogFolk Europe and the US, as well as its sister companies, including MindWorks (digital transformation consultancy), Untold Fable (content production), With Robots (a technology and automation partner), and Otomo (content automation), driving AnalogFolk’s innovative approach to emerging social platforms, new formats, trends, cultural movements, behaviours, communities, and creators, ensuring clients stay ahead by effectively leveraging these dynamic elements.
