Have you ever wanted to simply stand out from all those ads that are clamoring for your attention?.
So. Remember Black Friday last week? Welp, about a week prior (to be precise, Nov 21st), I was seized by an insane desire to create a Black Friday launch with my business partner.
I will be the first to admit, I was simply flying by the seat of my pants.
And at first (in recounting the story), I was ready to beat myself up regarding that it took me 8 days from concept to turning it live, however… I just revisited my timeline and launch schedule and look!
I was ALSO taking care of the Better Than aWeber? sale at the same time, so….
Methinks I did okay (even if some of my image creating thingees resulted in Works of Art Like this:
That was *supposed* to be the *words* “Blue Friday” made out of sapphires. Sigh.
Back to what I was saying:
However, that’s *me* – let’s now return back to the most important person reading…. you!
Do you ever get a desire to outdo your past self… but let your rational mind tell you:
I’ll never stand out so why bother?
Other peoples have already done it.
Why bother? You’ll never make the finish line!
I will confess – ALL of those thoughts smooshed me during the process. And here’s how I handled them:
CASE 1: I’ll never stand out so why bother? That was a very valid worry on my part so… I changed OUR sale to Blue Friday!
CASE 2: Other peoples have already done it. Yep, but nobody would do it like I would do it!
CASE 3: Why bother? You’ll never make the finish line! Ah, but you’ll never know unless you try, right?
I got the whole kit and kaboodle done by 5pm on Black Friday. Sure, I didn’t go live exactly in in the morning, but so far we’ve cleared over 2K.
Over 2K… just from a “What IF” idea.
Your takeaway? You never know what you’re capable of until you actually sit down and *try*.
Who knows… You might end up surprising yourself!
