The AG’s office asked interested and qualified applicants to fill out the employment form on its website and send the application to recruit2024@ag.go.ke.

“Candidates are requested to make their applications by filling out the application for employment form OAG&DOJ.1.2024 available on the OAG&DOJ website (www.statelaw.go.ke). Applications should be scanned (PDF) and emailed to: recruit2024@ag.go.ke or on or before November, 21, 2024to be received by 5.00pm,” the advert stated.

  • Certificate of proficiency in computer applications.

2. Office assistant III – 30 posts

The salary range for the position is KSh 18,250 to KSh 22,720. Other benefits include a KSh 3,000 commuter allowance monthly and a KSh 4,000 leave allowance per annum.

Requirements:

  • Kenya Certificate Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D.

3. Assistant office administrator III – 30 posts

The salary range for the position is KSh 28,620 to KSh 37,100. Other benefits include a KSh 4,000 commuter allowance monthly and a KSh 4,000 leave allowance per annum.

Requirements:

  • KCSE mean grade C-.
  • Diploma in secretarial studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).

4. State counsel – 78 posts

The salary range for the position is KSh 46,120 to KSh 65,680. Other benefits include a KSh 6,000 commuter allowance monthly and a KSh 6,000 leave allowance per annum.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of laws degree.
  • Postgraduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
  • Been admitted as the advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
