ChatGPT, a leading AI tool, is now accessible directly in your Chrome browser through extensions. For this post, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of ChatGPT Chrome extension options that make using the AI assistant much easier.

1. ChatGPT Writer
Price: Free with premium options
ChatGPT Writer is a useful extension that enables you to write emails and messages faster. It’s available on most websites and supports multiple languages.
In Gmail for instance, you’ll see a small thunderbolt icon next to the Send button in the new message window. When you click it, a pop-up appears prompting you to input an email context and a few details about what it should include. Press the Generate button to have ChatGPT Writer compose the email to you. Then you can immediately insert it into the message.
ChatGPT Writer uses the GPT 3.5T model, but you can switch to Gemini 1.5F if you prefer. Additional options include GPT 4.o and Sonnet 3.5, but these are only available if you upgrade to a premium subscription. These start at $16/month.

2. AIPRM for ChatGPT

AIPRM for ChatGPT is an extension designed for people who specialize in SEO, copywriting, social media marketing, or related fields. Once you install it in Chrome, it helps you simplify the prompt creation process by offering access to hundreds of curated prompts from various fields.
Access ChatGPT as you normally would, and you’re ready to start using AIPRM. Select a topic and activity, then set the output language. It’s also possible to set a tone and writing style, but the options are limited in the free version (paid versions start at $20/month.)
Select one of the templates available and then add your relevant information at the bottom. For instance, we selected a template that generates captions and hashtags for apps like Instagram and TikTok. We then added the topic/keyword and the extension immediately got to work and generated a range of potential options.
3. Merlin
Price: Free with premium options
Merlin enhances your web browsing experience. The extension can be of immense help by delivering summaries of YouTube videos, online/offline articles, or books. You can also ask it to write up FAQ questions.
Merlin can also write emails, social media posts, or content in various formats. Even better, the tool can also help with image generation and prompt creation.
The extension gives you free access to the ChatGPT 4 model with web access. Merlin is mostly free, but you might want to upgrade to a paid tier starting at $19/month (with a yearly plan) for unlimited access.

4. ChatGPT Prompt Genius

ChatGPT Prompt Genius is an interesting Chrome extension that lets you create a library of prompts. The cool part is that these prompts can contain variables.
Once you decide to use a prompt, the extension will ask you to input the variables manually. Then all that’s left is to copy and paste it into ChatGPT. This way, you can re-use a prompt countless time in many different ways.
The extension also lets you set shortcuts to open the sidebar or open the popup panel with your prompts. If you also want access to custom themes for your extension, you can support the developer by upgrading to Pro ($10 for 3 months.)
5. WiseOne

WiseOne is an extension that will help you improve your reading experience. Ever struggled to understand an article? WiseOne can help by offering features that can help you make sense of the information.
The extension will summarize content for you so you can get an idea of the ideas included in the piece quickly. It also allows you to ask questions, so you can easily extract pieces of information without having to do an in-depth dive.
In addition, WiseOne highlights terms you might not be familiar with and provides handy definitions, all in your browser window. To make sure the information you’re reading is accurate, WiseOne also includes a cross-check feature. In the free version of WiseOne, you get 10 queries per day. If you need more, the premium tiers start at $8.25 per month.

6. TinaMind

TinaMind is an extension that helps you get answers to your questions faster. It employs the GPT-4/4o model to assist you with internet searches, but also with translations, writing, and summarizing.
The tool also includes a text-to-speech and speech-to-text feature (you’ll need to upload your own audio files). Moreover, the extension supports OCR so you can transform images into digital text files easily. Naturally, you can converse with TinaMind as well, and even add Skills such as Search for Video or Search for Academic.
You can access all these features from the TinaMind panel which shows up on the right side of the display. TinaMind is free to use, but there’s the option to upgrade to premium (starting at $6/month) for unrestricted access, faster response speed, and more.
7. ChatGPT Sheets

If you use Google Sheets a lot for your work or other projects, you might greatly benefit from using the ChatGPT Sheets extension.
The extension offers a vast collection of templates, allowing you to instantly add tables to your sheets. You can also generate custom tables tailored to your needs and seamlessly integrate them into your worksheet. Additionally, the tool can help you make sense of complex data you might have trouble understanding.

8. YouTube Summary With ChatGPT
