Willamette Week: The Pets Issue

For many of us our pets are family and Portlanders certainly love their pets.

In this year’s pet issue, Willamette Week dives into the wonderful world of our furry, feathery and scaly friends and reminds us they are beings in need of care.

WW’s Interim Arts & Culture Editor Christen McCurdy joined KATU’s Deb Knapp on Wednesday to break it all down.

There is a lot of great content in this year’s pet issue, including a feature on a pop-up veterinary clinic that provides care for pets that are homeless or at risk of it. And there is an article making the case for ducks over chickens if you are interested in raising your own eggs.
