The event took place on Saturday, August 22 in aid of Mawnan Church.
A good number of dogs entered classes during the show.
The whippet, called Gilly, was handled by owner Kensa Richards and was judged Best Pedigree before taking the title.
Kensa showed four whippets, all of which had qualities, according to judge David Arrondelle.
Gilly was selected for her confirmation, show-ability and presentation.
Novelty events followed, with 16 classes offering entertainment for competitors and visitors.
Categories included dog with the waggiest tail and best six legs.
Food was provided during the event.
Organisers served a barbecue with hot dogs and sausages, alongside Cornish cream teas sponsored by Rodda’s Dairy.
Visitors could choose from a selection of homemade cakes.
Raffle prizes were donated by Doggies and Moggies and Pets at Home.
Organisers thanked businesses for their support.
David said the day was a success for everyone involved.
He added that the show would return in mid-August next year.
Organisers invited people who have not attended a Mawnan Fun Dog Show to come next year.
