The “all-white everything” era is finally giving way to a “my room, my rules” mentality, up +415 per cent, as Pinners rewrite the rules and turn their spaces into unapologetic reflections of self.

Bold, expressive colours are having a moment – think moody blue, vintage pink –  even kitchen cabinets are getting in on the act, with searches for “aubergine kitchen” surging +495 per cent.

Vintage-meets-modern kitchens are trending too: “grandma core kitchen” is up +545 per cent, while “dark cottagecore kitchen” has soared +915 per cent, as people embrace comfort, character, and a pinch of nostalgia at the heart of the home.

Small spaces are claiming their spotlight this spring. Searches for “comfy reading chair small spaces” have jumped +455 per cent, while “closet reading nook for adults” is up +55 per cent, proving that whether it’s a sunny window seat or a tucked-away corner, cosy escapes can exist anywhere.

The social calendar is following suit. Evening garden parties are up +210 per cent, garden movie night parties +130 per cent, garden party brunches +100 per cent, garden party picnics +65 per cent, and simple garden parties +65 per cent, turning casual gatherings into colourful, relaxed moments.

For those craving a slower pace, mindful reset rituals are on the rise: “Sunday reset list” (+65 per cent) and “Sunday reset aesthetic” (+55 per cent) hint at a spring that’s less about doing the most, and more about feeling your best.
