OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is warning veterans about a phishing email scam.
According to ODVA, the fraudulent emails claim the recipient has received a grant bonus. The agency says the emails are not from ODVA and are designed to obtain personal information.
What veterans should do
ODVA is urging anyone who receives the email to not click any links or submit any personal information. Recipients are instructed to delete the email immediately.
