Fort Wayne FC is ready to trade in the St. Francis Bishop D’Arcy Stadium for Fort Wayne FC Park, which is estimated to finish in Spring. This will be their official home, with their first home game at the soccer stadium scheduled for May 2 against Charlotte Independence.

The soccer stadium has a max capacity of 9,200 and will be the biggest outdoor stadium in the Northeast Indiana area. Located on Bass Rd., it’s becoming an architectural landmark near Interstate 69.

For Justin Cohn, Director of Communications for the team, he hopes the stadium will bring in a lot of interest.

“We need to bring in new fans. Maybe they’re hockey fans. Maybe they’re baseball fans. Maybe they’ve never seen a soccer match. Those are the people that we need to bring in, and some of them will do it just because there’s a new pro sports team, and others will do it because they’ve seen that stadium next to I-69 and they want to see what’s going on there, and they’ll get excited about that,” Cohn said.

Cohn went on to say that there’s a build up in morale for the team and their staff for the upcoming season.

“We’re about to begin our first season in professional soccer. You can see a lot of excitement out here today, not just with the players, but with our staff. We’ve got a whole battalion of people in the front office that are working very hard on selling tickets and getting us ready for our first season,” Cohn said.

The excitement spread into the players as they have kickstarted their first practice for the 2026 season, and the stadium adds to it. Reid Sproat from Leo-Cedarville is one of the few players who grew up in the Fort Wayne area. He’s proud to play professionally in his hometown.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything, especially in Fort Wayne, but I’ve played in a few other stadiums across my college career. But for me, this is a new experience playing pro, so I’m definitely excited. Every time I drive by, it’s looking better than it was the week before,” Sproat said.

There are 19 confirmed home games for the 2026 season. Season long tickets start at $319.50. Single match tickets will be available closer to the start of the season. More information is available of the Fort Wayne FC website.
