Mentor church to hold Blessing of the Pets – News-Herald

St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Mentor is holding a Blessing of the Pets on Oct. 3 at noon in the back parking lot of the church, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd.

Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier, and a freewill offering as well as cans or bags of pet food will be accepted and donated to the Lake County Humane Society, according to a news release.
