How to make money in Moonlight Peaks

To make money in Moonlight Peaks you can sell farmable produce, fish, materials, and foraged items to Chester (your sell box). However, some methods are far more lucrative than others – especially if you’re just starting out.

Below, you can find the best methods for making Coins in Moonlight Peaks that we’ve found so far:

Build Kegs to sell Juices and Wines

You’ll get the Keg recipe very early on from Orlock and you simply need Wood to build one. You’ll need one to produce Red Wine, but you should aim to build at least three at minimum to have three different lots of produce processing at a single time.

Wine in particular sells for high amounts of Coins, especially if it’s one, two or even three star quality. The higher the quality of the product, the more Coins it’s worth. To make the most of your Kegs, Strawberries, Blueberries, Blood Grapes, White Grapes, and Raspberries are worth investing in. They repeatedly regrow their crops once planted – just pay attention to their planting season.

Make Jam

Using your crops to create Jam and Jellies (once you unlock the equipment) is worth doing too. You’ll need to be a bit more patient when it comes to obtaining the Jam maker, and you should still make sure you’re using the Kegs too. The more items you can make from your crops to sell, the better. You’ll get this Blueprint from Mina.

Use Fertiliser before planting

Once you get a Barn from Ridge at the Howling Hammer, you can purchase livestock from Luna in Moonlit Pines. Livestock, such as Cheekens, will produce fertilizer for you to collect. Place the fertilizer down on tilled soil before planting crops to increase the end quality of anything you plant. The higher quality your produce is, the more it’s worth and the more the final processed products are worth (such as Jam and Juices).

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

When you reach Autumn, Pumpkins will be for sale at Luna’s seed stall. Now, they do cost a bit more than other seeds and will only create one Pumpkin per seed, but they are worth the investment. Pumpkins, even at their most basic quality, are worth a lot of Coins when you sell them. So, if you want to bump up your wallet before Winter hits, create and meticulously tend to a large Pumpkin patch on your land.

Invest in Trees

Trees are expensive seeds and they take a whole season to grow, but once they’ve matured they will continously provide produce for you. This produce is often high value and can be turned into even more profitable items. Plus, many of the trees last year around, so purchasing them once will give you a reliable source of income no matter the weather.

Plant Aquaflux seeds

There are specific seeds you can buy from Luna’s seed stall in Moonlit Pines that can only be watered using the Aquaflux spell. These magical seeds are more profitable than the basic ones you can purchase, and if you turn them into other products like Wine or Powders, your pockets will be full in no time.

Dig up swirl marks

Do you see those swirly marks on the ground as you run around the map? Dig these up and you may find a cluster of free Coins just waiting to be collected. This is by no means the most lucrative way of earning cash, but it’s free so it’s worth doing!
