While I have delayed as much as I possibly can, there are prior commitments I am unable to cancel,” Bates shared in her statement while speaking out about her husband’s affair via Instagram on January 20, 2026. “I realize that life has to go on even through hardships and difficult situations, and I appreciate your grace and understanding during this time.”

That same day, a prescheduled ad went up on her page for CVS Pharmacy. “January always makes me want to reset in a way that feels realistic for our days 🤍 Did a quick little refresh for some everyday things and picked up a few indoor activities for the kids since we’re home more lately. Clark has since gone public with the news that he cheated on his wife in an Instagram Stories post, writing, “I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust. There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone.”
Bates, for her part, stated in a follow-up message that “my trust has been broken,” adding, “I do believe in God’s power to restore, and my heart’s desire is to preserve our marriage.”
