Dalmatian Goes on a Shopping Spree To Spend Money He Made on TikTok

Those of us who spend any time on social media at all know that it can be pretty lucrative for those with big followings. That’s not just limited to human influencers, either—dog influencers stand to bring in a pretty penny (and lots of sponsored treats) if they can find their audience.

That applies to the Dalmatian in the video below, named Ryder, who, after all his hard work making so many friends on the internet, is finally able to enjoy his spoils!

When Ryder’s TikTok paycheck hit earlier this month, his mom shared footage of how they spent the $209.18 he made in January in a video on his account, @ryderthedal.

They headed straight for PetSmart for a shopping spree so he could spend his check, and I’m guessing this is what a lot of dogs’ perfect day out would look like.

While his mom did end up picking out a couple of necessities for him (like new products to upgrade his dental routine), he also got to pick out treats on his own, like a spring-themed Lamb Chop toy he seemed to be interested in. He even had enough left over that they got to make a second stop to restock his food, so all in all, it looks like the money was certainly well spent.

Ahh, the life of a dogfluencer.

For the number of followers Ryder has on his account, it’s a little surprising to see that he didn’t make more cash over the course of a month—after all, over 193k followers is nothing to scoff at. Still, there’s no doubt that the number will continue to grow if he keeps sharing these adorable videos.

Ryder might not know how loved he is on the internet, but it’s good to see he’s still reaping the benefits that come with it in the form of new toys and treats. His mom must be so proud of him!
