New Delhi: Apple has launched a new Instagram account called @helloapple, expanding its social media presence as the company approaches its 50th anniversary on April 1, 2026.
The account went live on March 12, 2026. Its bio reads: “Our stories, and yours.” The account has already got over 70k followers, as of March 13.
It complements the existing main @apple account (which has over 36 million followers and focuses heavily on the #ShotOniPhone campaign) by offering a broader platform for content.
@helloapple will share company news and announcements, behind-the-scenes glimpses, product marketing and stories, highlights of how Apple products inspire creativity and impact everyday lives, spotlights on work from Apple’s creator community.
The launch kicked off with a post: a video featuring the word “Hello” accompanied by evolving Apple logo animations that nod to the company’s history.
Early content also included a repost of CEO Tim Cook’s open letter titled “50 Years of Thinking Different,” reflecting on Apple’s journey from its garage origins to becoming a global innovator.
This move aligns with Apple’s plans to celebrate its milestone anniversary throughout the coming weeks and months.
While the main @apple account has traditionally emphasised visual storytelling through user-generated content, the new @helloapple handle appears designed to foster a more personal and narrative-driven connection with followers, sharing both Apple’s legacy and user experiences.
