One of the staples of a multi-pet household is witnessing a very silly beef between animal siblings. The latest example of these silly shenanigans recently happened between a deaf dog and his deaf cat sibling.
While the mystery surrounding what started this tiff remains unsolved, it’s clear from the way this dog frantically barks at his feline sibling, who remains totally unfazed by their canine sibling’s relentless badgering, that this issue likely isn’t going to be resolved anytime soon.
According to this video, this is the third such time that this deaf dog has gotten into it with their deaf feline sibling.
The dog is taking a very aggressive stance in this apparently one-sided feud; standing on the sofa, jumping up and down while barking up a storm like the house is burning down.
Meanwhile, the cat remains calm, cool, and collected. While their canine sibling is all sound and fury and restless tail wagging, this cat is still and silent as a stone statue.

From the angle this footage was filmed at, it’s tough to discern if this cat is bewildered, amused, or just plain old stupefied by their canine sibling’s raucous behavior.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is clear: this cat doesn’t have the slightest idea what this dog is ranting and raving about.
Viewers Joke That Every Bark and Meow in This Sibling Feud Is Falling on Deaf Ears
The jokes were flying fast and furious in this video’s comments section as Instagram viewers were quick to milk this interaction for every ounce of comedy it had to offer.
Some Instagram viewers joked that this dog and cat were in competition with each other because the dog believed that there was only enough room in this household for one deaf animal: “Dog: ‘There can be only one deaf animal, and it’s me!’ Cat: ‘I can’t hear what you’re saying, can you give me a sign?’ LOL.”
