What is the Most Idjut Thing You’ve Done re: MMO?

I was moved to write on this beloved-by-many topic because of *my* past idjutness (“past” meaning, a few hours ago).

So Setting The Stage We Go!

I had just finished crossing the t’s! Dotting the i’s! Making sure all downloads downloadized!

And I made it public. ‘Twas a testimony of sheer digital Mona-Lisa soul-stirring beauty, it certainly was, except for one teeeeeeeeeeeeeny tiny thingee that I *just* discovered (5 hours later).

Yours truly, in a blinding moment of “Overlook something? Me? Why Shirley, you jest!”, kinda sorta maybe a weeeeee bit could have (*could* have, mind you – perhaps I am unknowingly part of an Intergalactic Power Struggle and the following was changed *without* my knowledge):

(yes, I hear you sighing, @Dennis Becker (that’s an inside joke between us))

So imagine the Sheer Delight and Gratification and Ecstasy that suffused my entire body when I discovered that the description of Old School, New Marketing, was NOT:

37 Surprisingly Silly, Smart and Slightly Absurd Online Income Ideas for Seniors: Beginner-Friendly, Humorous and Quite Useful to Boot!

Instead, it was:

Pwerful zero-fluff blueprint that shows MidJourney Members 12 ways to monetize their new FREE Video Option!

The pain. Oh, the pain!

Now, if you were within a radius of, oh, I don’t know, 639 miles of me, you *might* have heard a very looooooong highpitched auditory examples of “Eeeeeeeeeeeeek!” followed by the sounds of me running (hah, running, hah) to the end of a (very) short pier and then taking a running leap off of it along with the sounds of “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!” (hopefully, I’ll be able to provide some true-to-life videos that describe this extremely restful and peaceful activity).

Sigh. Anywhos! Your takeaway?

Mindfulness! It’s a Good Thing to Have (especially when going live).

So… if anyone learns from my absolutely rookie mistake after, what, close to 30 years in this business?

I am a Very Happy Camper Indeed.
