Payments giant Stripe just made one of its boldest moves yet, reaching beyond its familiar territory of processing transactions and into the fast-moving world of artificial intelligence infrastructure. The company announced Wednesday it has agreed to acquire AI routing platform OpenRouter, a deal that reportedly carries a price tag around $7.5 billion and has three Stripe to acquire OpenRouter in $7.5 billion deal expanding AI capabilities.
