Look, dogs might be friendly and all, but they have their limits. Or maybe that’s just Dale Dimmadome, a Hound dog at the Iowa City Animal Care And Adoption Center in Iowa City, Iowa. Dale has had it with his caretakers at the adoption center. And he wasn’t afraid to let it be known, either.
The video shared by Dale’s caretaker is sort of funny, right? The person was just trying to offer the Hound a treat. But uhhhh, Dale must’ve been fuming about something.
Shay just wanted to be nice to the Hound, is that so wrong? The woman was volunteering at the animal care center when she wanted to feed the dog something tasty. But apparently the thought didn’t count.

Dale, are you okay, buddy? You seem a little ticked. In the video Shay shared, it shows the woman extending a treat to the dog, who was not impressed by the offering. The dog took the treat from her hand and then threw it on the floor. It seems like Dale has had it with Shay and her shenanigans.
“You don’t want this?” she asked the dog before he took the treat and threw it on the ground. After the incident she was totally shocked. “Dale?!”
Dale’s outburst had people online cracking up.
“NOTHING TASTES LIKE FREEDOM, SHAY,” joked one person in the comments section.
“He knows how to communicate exactly what he wants!” someone else added.
“Buddy said I’m a Hound dog not a pound dog get me the heck outta here,” teased one commenter.
“Slammed it on the floor, punched the door, and hollered.. I think he’s a bit upset,” chimed in one person.

Okay, so maybe Dale isn’t fit for the shelter life. But that’s even more reason why you or someone you know should bring the sweet doggo home. All you need to do is head to the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center and fill out an application for adoption. Dale needs a forever home ASAP. Just don’t get insulted if he doesn’t love your treats.
