Wilson started the season as the Giants’ starter before seeing himself relegated to a backup role due to poor play.

Rookie Jaxson Dart has taken over the reins as he’s shown to be productive when healthy.

With the 2-11 Giants on a bye week, the veteran Wilson will be tasked with a TV job.

Wilson is set to join CBS Sports as a guest analyst this Sunday in Week 14.

He was demoted to third-string following Jameis Winston’s promotion last month.

Still, Wilson has shared that he has no plans of leaving the Giants before the end of the season.

“Yeah, I love it here,” he said on November 12.

“I love my teammates and I want to see us turn it around.

“…. I haven’t asked for a release or anything like that, because I want to be here.”

With just four games left this season, Wilson’s latest job could be signaling his post-playing career.
