Rescue Dog Has Hilarious Way of Letting Mom Know He Wants Her to Join Him on the Couch

Cuddle time! Every dog parent knows when their pupper wants to sit on the couch with them. Although few are quite as direct as Marty, a rescue dog from the Pacific Northwest. He has a very clear way of letting his human know it’s time to snuggle up on the couch. It’s so adorable! People online had to agree.

Marty looks so comfy in the video his mama shared. It showed the dog all bundled up on the couch. What a cutie!

This definitely isn’t the first time that Marty has done this. The rescue dog had his routine down pat. Step 1: snuggle up inside a cozy blanket. Step 2: look adorable. Step 3: Gently gesture to your mama that you want her to join.

“Come onnnn. Come sit,” he seemed to say. Ugh, this was really so tempting. I don’t know how anyone could resist!

“Watch my dog ever so subtly gesture and strategically guide me to sit next to him for head scratches,” the video’s text overlay reads. “Can’t sit buddy. I’m vacuuming up your hair,” the person joked.

He loves her! That’s why he wants her to hang out. People in the comments section were so incredibly charmed by the dog’s gesture. They couldn’t stop talking about it in the comments section.

“He said, ‘C’mon, c’mon take a lil’ seat next to meh,’” teased someone in the comments section.

“So suave. So smooth. No words, but he’s a sweettalker,” joked another person.

“I think the vacuuming can wait,” added one commenter.

“Is the subtle in the room with us?” one person quipped.

Best Places to Pet a Dog

All dogs love a little lovin’. But every pet parent knows there are better places to pet your pooch than others. When going in for your next snuggle session, try to pet your dog’s head, ears, back, shoulders, neck, chest, and belly.

It might be tempting, but you should probably never pet your dog’s tail or its paws. They don’t really like it and it can really upset them! So when it comes to your pup, pet wisely.
