SPAM EMAIL WARNING 

The Mt. Sterling Police Department has been made aware of a fraudulent email that appears to be from Chief Aaron Noel. The email contains an attachment and asks recipients to download and complete a document.

This email is NOT legitimate. Chief Aaron Noel has not sent any emails to other law enforcement agencies or organizations requesting that they download or complete any attached documents.

If you receive this email:
• Do not open the attachment.
• Do not download any files.
• Do not provide any personal or agency information.
• Delete the email and report it to your IT department or email administrator if applicable.

Please help us prevent others from becoming victims by sharing this information with your staff and colleagues.
