Having joined from Amazon three months ago, Claudine Cheever says storytelling has been a consistent thread throughout her career, a skill she will be calling on to ensure Pinterest achieves its goal of getting users to live life offline.

Pinterest has always looked to differentiate from competitors, leaning into the fact it offers inspiration for life offline rather than being a virtual bubble of likes, comments and shares.

This ‘life offline’ messaging was one of the key things that drew Claudine Cheever to Pinterest. She joined the brand as its new CMO three months ago, having spent the past nine years at Amazon, most recently VP of global brand and marketing.
