Michigan high school athletes can now make money for themselves.
The state’s athletic association’s representative council approved an expansion of what’s called “Personal Branding Activities.”
That’s like the “Name Image and Likeness” or N.I.L college athletes have to make money on their fame but retain their college eligibility.
Now the state’s high school athletes can make money from social media endorsements, personal appearances, photo and autograph sessions and general advertising.
