Ray-Ban Meta Glasses make smart eyewear practical and stylish

Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 2) blend smart features with style for hands-free calls, photos, videos and music on the go.

Meta has rolled out a new line of smart glasses that offer more AI-powered features.

On June 23, Meta and French eyewear company EssilorLuxottica introduced a new line of Meta Glasses, available for $299 a pair. The smart glasses feature Meta AI, providing users with more opportunities for AI assistance. Wearing the glasses, a user can ask Meta AI to play music based on a surrounding or to pull up a link to a QR code spotted on a poster. The new glasses serve as a liaison between the natural world and the world wide web.

Meta released its first line of smart glasses in 2021 with Ray-Ban Stories, also made in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica. The tech giant’s first smart glasses, also $299, offered photo and video capture capabilities, open air headphones and the ability to directly share captured content to platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and Snapchat.
