Cyberimpact is a Canadian-based, bilingual email marketing platform that enables small and medium-sized businesses to easily create, automate, and track email campaigns while ensuring compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Pulse 2.0 interviewed Cyberimpact General Manager Geoffrey Blanc to learn more.
Geoffrey Blanc’s Background

Could you tell me more about your background? Blanc said
“I am the General Manager of Cyberimpact, a Canadian email marketing platform trusted by thousands of businesses, public organizations, and nonprofits. I lead our strategy across product, security, and growth, with a strong focus on privacy by design, local data hosting, and responsible marketing practices.”
“I have spent more than a decade building companies, managing complex teams, and working in SaaS, email deliverability, and compliance. My work today is all about helping organizations navigate the new world of digital consent, inbox trust, and AI-driven communications. I also speak regularly at marketing and technology events across Canada, where I share practical insights on privacy, engagement, and the future of email.”
Formation Of The Company
How did the idea for the company come together? Blanc shared:
“Cyberimpact was created because small and medium-sized organizations needed an email marketing platform that was simple, bilingual, reliable, and most importantly, compliant with Canadian privacy laws. Over time, we expanded our infrastructure, built strong deliverability systems, and kept investing in features designed for Canadian businesses.”
“As General Manager, I oversee operations, strategy, growth, product evolution, and partnerships. My role is to make sure we stay ahead of where the inbox is going, not just where it has been.”
Favorite Memory
What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Blanc reflected:
“One of my favorite milestones has been doubling the size of the company in less than 28 months. It was a huge team effort and a clear sign that our strategy was working. I would also say that winning major accounts and welcoming more government organizations as clients has been incredibly rewarding. It proves that even as a smaller Canadian company, we are delivering the right product, built with security, privacy, and trust at the core. It is a great feeling to see that recognition grow year after year.”
Core Products
What are the company’s core products and features? Blanc explained:
“Cyberimpact is a complete email marketing platform built around simplicity, compliance, and trust. Our core features include:
- A powerful drag-and-drop email editor
- Marketing automations and lifecycle workflows
- Behavioral segmentation and dynamic content
- Consent management aligned with Canadian privacy laws
- High deliverability infrastructure and monitoring tools
- A fully bilingual experience in English and French
We also send between 100 and 120 million emails per month, depending on the period, and all data is hosted locally in Canada.
On the security side, we are SOC 2 compliant and operate with some of the highest security and privacy standards in our industry, which is one of the reasons we are trusted by governments, public organizations, and regulated sectors.”
Challenges Faced
Have you faced any challenges in your sector of work recently? Blanc acknowledged:
“The biggest shift has been the rise of AI-powered inboxes and stricter deliverability rules from Gmail and Yahoo. The inbox today is not just a mailbox. It’s an algorithmic filter for trust.”
“We adapted by reinforcing our authentication systems, improving our deliverability monitoring, and guiding clients toward better sending practices. Our focus on consent, quality content, and proper list hygiene puts us ahead of many competitors who struggle with these new standards.”
Evolution Of The Company’s Technology
How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? Blanc noted:
“We have evolved from a simple bulk email system into a complete lifecycle marketing platform. Over the years, we added automations, event-driven triggers, dynamic content, advanced reporting, and machine-readable design standards that support the new AI-driven inbox environment.”
“We also strengthened our infrastructure significantly to support higher volume, better performance, and stronger reliability. On top of that, we introduced new features that help marketers centralize their work, including built-in landing pages and pop-up tools, so they do not need to purchase multiple separate platforms.”
“From a security standpoint, we continuously upgrade our systems and processes. We are SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, fully hosted in Canada, and built around strict privacy and data governance requirements.”
Significant Milestones
What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Blanc cited:
“One of the biggest milestones for us has been adding more than 2,500 new clients and doubling our revenue in less than 28 months. We also scaled our sending infrastructure significantly. We went from handling around 50 to 60 million emails per month to consistently reaching between 100 and 120 million. These milestones show how quickly the platform has grown and how strongly the market is responding to a Canadian-built, privacy-focused email marketing solution.”
Customer Success Stories
Can you share any specific customer success stories? Blanc highlighted:
“While I cannot name specific clients, I can say that many government and public sector organizations use Cyberimpact to drive important initiatives with great success. Some run large-scale renewal campaigns or public service updates, while others use the platform to promote programs or sell memberships.”
“Because our system is simple, compliant, and built with strong deliverability in mind, these organizations see very high engagement and conversion rates. It is always rewarding to know that our platform helps support essential services and community-driven initiatives across Canada.”
Funding/Revenue
Are you able to discuss funding and/or revenue metrics? Blanc revealed:
“We are a privately held and fully bootstrapped company, so we do not rely on any external investment, and we do not disclose detailed revenue or funding metrics publicly. What I can share is that the company is healthy, profitable, and growing quickly. We doubled our revenue in under 28 months and continue to reinvest heavily in the platform, security, and innovation to support long-term growth.”
“We are also proud to be listed in The Globe and Mail’s Top 400 Fastest Growing Companies in Canada, with a 69% growth rate from 2021 to 2024. That does not include this year, where we are on track to exceed 40% year-over-year growth. This momentum reflects the trust organizations place in a Canadian-built, privacy-focused email marketing platform that grows sustainably without external funding.”
Total Addressable Market (TAM)
What total addressable market (TAM) size is the company pursuing? Blanc assessed:
“Our primary market includes Canadian SMBs, nonprofits, public sector organizations, and government entities. When you look at the Canadian landscape, there are more than one million employer organizations nationwide, and close to 500,000 of them have five or more employees. This is the segment where email marketing has the biggest operational impact, and it represents a very large addressable market.”
“We are also seeing fast-growing demand in regulated and compliance-sensitive sectors that require Canadian data hosting, strict privacy standards, and SOC 2-level security. As privacy expectations continue to rise in Canada, this segment is expanding even more quickly.”
“So while our focus remains on serving Canada first, the TAM spans a broad and diverse set of organizations that need a simple, secure, and locally compliant email marketing solution that reflects the realities of our market.”
Differentiation From The Competition
What differentiates the company from its competition? Blanc affirmed:
“Cyberimpact stands out for several reasons:
- Compliance by design: We are built for Canadian organizations, with privacy and compliance at the heart of the platform. We follow Canadian laws closely, host all data locally, and align with frameworks like Law 25, PIPEDA, and SOC 2. Many global tools are not designed for this reality.
- Simplicity and a fully bilingual experience: We focus on giving users powerful features without unnecessary complexity, and we offer a true English and French experience end to end. This matters a lot for teams working across Canada.
- Deliverability and trust: Everything we develop supports trusted sending practices, strong authentication, and better inbox placement. We help users adapt to Gmail, Yahoo, and the new AI-driven inbox in a clear and structured way. Our goal is to make sure good emails reach the inbox consistently.”
Future Company Goals
What are some of the company’s future goals? Blanc concluded:
“One of our main goals is to become the leading email marketing platform in Canada. We believe that, by continuing to provide the right tools, investing in innovation, and keeping compliance and privacy at the center of everything we do, we will achieve that. Our focus is on supporting Canadian organizations with a platform that is simple, powerful, secure, and truly aligned with the realities of our market.”
“And who knows, maybe one day we will bring that same privacy and compliance-oriented approach to the US market, where many companies are now looking for more responsible and transparent email marketing solutions.”
Additional Thoughts
Any other topics you would like to discuss? Blanc concluded:
“I would highlight how much the inbox is changing. AI is deciding what gets seen, summarized, and prioritized. Privacy and consent are becoming core competitive advantages. Companies need a modern playbook, and we are committed to guiding them through this new era of trusted communication.”
