The SoMo Borac conference on digital marketing, advertising, and media is being held for the third year in a row, bringing together names that shape the industry and trends in the digital world. Organizers announced speakers who will share concrete, experience-based advice with visitors.
While entries for the awards recognizing the best campaigns are still open, organizers revealed the first international keynote speaker: Eoin Carrigan from Pinterest. Coming from Dublin, he will speak in Zagreb on October 24 about how Pinterest uses AI innovations: “The internet has given us countless ways to find what we’re looking for, but somewhere along the way, the joy of shopping disappeared. At Pinterest, we’re bringing that joy back – with the help of artificial intelligence, we’re developing deeper and broader visual search and discovery, creating new opportunities for brands to win in the market,” said Carrigan.
With more than a decade of experience at tech giants and in developing business partnerships across 40+ countries, Carrigan will show how AI is transforming the way we search and discover content online.
Telegram’s Prvi glas is the first daily podcast in Croatia and has, in just a few months, become the country’s most listened-to news podcast. Each episode reaches around 20,000 listens, while social content garners millions of views. Filip Raunić, Video and Audio Editor at Telegram, in his lecture “Podcast Prvi glas: How and Why We Didn’t Fail?”, will reveal how they achieved this success, why they publish the podcast at 4:30 a.m., and why he believes Croatia will see a true podcast boom in 2026.
Sean Poropat, Creative Director and Co-founder of Studio Sonda, will explain how brands can connect with audiences by creating stories that are authentic, honest, and memorable. In his talk, he will question whether today’s brands need new ways of collaborating and communicating with their audiences, and through the 7 phases of the Designed by People project, demonstrate how to effectively push the boundaries of traditional cooperation between brands and audiences.
Early Bird tickets are available now, and projects can be submitted until September 30. Updates on this year’s edition can be followed via the SoMo Borac newsletter and on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
