How to make money fast in Grow a Garden 2
In Grow a Garden 2, you can make money fast by selling high-value crops, playing with friends, bargaining, mutating plants, using Sprinklers and Watering Cans and specific plant-boosting pets.
Sell high-value crops
Selling high-value crops is, of course, the best way of earning a lot of Sheckles quickly. That being said, it will take you a while to work your way up to many of the S-tier crops in our seed tier list. This is simply because they are all very expensive and you’ll start your garden with no Sheckles at all.
That’s not to stay you must use S-tier plants to turn a profit, they are just the best ones for the job. Bamboo and Mushrooms are both highly lucrative crops. Yes, they are single harvest, but they have proven to provide the most profit quickly when you’re just starting out and even when you’ve got an established garden.

Play with friends
This is a simple but nice little boost to have while you’re trying to amp up the amount of Sheckles you’re earning. You’ll get a 10% value boost for your crops for every friend you’ve got on your server. Just remember that it must be a Roblox friend for the boost to work and it can stack up. It’s 10% per friend, so if you’re on a server with five other people, you’ll get a 50% boost. Just make sure your friends don’t nab your crops when you’re not looking…

Bargain for a better price
Bargaining for a better price with Steven at the sell shop is always worth it when you know your inventory is filled with high-tier crops, such as Dragon’s Breath. You won’t always strike a good deal with this merchant, but it’s worth a try – you may end up getting more than you thought!

Wait for and sell mutations
Mutations will happen to your crops through weather events or be inflicted by certain pets you own. Mutated crops are always worth more than their original counterparts, but different mutations apply different multipliers. For example, a Rainbow mutation will apply a x30 multiplier to affected crops but a Bloodlit mutation is worth more as it applies a x60 multiplier.
In short, if you know you’ve got crops that are worth a lot (like a Moon Bloom) then it’s worth leaving them on their parent plant and not harvesting them until a mutation has been applied. Just remember to keep an eye out for other players trying to steal your stuff!

Use Sprinklers and Watering Cans
Sprinklers and Watering Cans are gear items that can be bought at the Gear Shop when they’re in stock. Sprinklers are limited-time items that will water the crops in the indicated area around it when you’ve placed the item down in your garden plot. Watering the crops can help increase the weight and size of them, which can result in them being worth more when it comes time to sell them.
Watering Cans can be used to water crops to reinvigorate them if they’ve dried out, but more importantly they will apply a growth speed boost the plant you water. At the time of writing, the Super Watering Can is the best in-game and it applies a 300x speed growth multiplier to a plant. This is especially handy if you’ve got a high-value plant that’s taking a long time to grow.

Own plant-boosting pets
Time is money right? The faster your plants grow, the sooner you can sell their produce for Sheckles and it’s even better if they’re mutated. This is where the right pets will come in useful. Some pets will give your crops a growth speed boost while others will increase your chances of getting specific mutations.
Two good ones to keep an eye out for are the Deer and the Unicorn. The Deer increases plant growth speed by 10% and the Unicorn doubles the chance of your plants getting the Rainbow mutation. You’re far more likely to encounter the Deer though, and when you pair the Deer with other speed-boosting methods like a Sprinkler, your garden will be flourishing very quickly.
