EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Perry Township Fire Department is holding a fun family event Saturday, March 14, as they celebrate Fire Dog Kia’s Family Fun Day.

The fire department is celebrating Kia’s 3rd birthday at the AMC Theatres parking lot on Pearl Drive in Evansville. The event is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday. There will be demonstrations, hands-on activities, and plenty of fire trucks for the kids to check out.
And since Saturday, March 14 is ‘Pi Day’ (3/14), the fire department will be kicking off a fundraiser with pre-sales of pies from the ‘Be Happy Pie Company’.
Fire officials say this event is a great opportunity for families to learn more about fire safety.
Saturday’s event is from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the AMC Theaters Parking lot, 5600 Pearl Drive on Evansville’s west side.
