HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – The City of Hastings is warning residents about phishing emails impersonating city employees.
The fraudulent emails come from cityofhastings.org@usa.com, which is designed to look like an official city address but is not affiliated with Hastings, according to city officials.
Residents who receive these emails should report them as phishing or spam and delete them immediately. Do not click any attachments or links in the messages.
The legitimate City of Hastings email domain is cityofhastings.org. Any official city communications will only use that address.
