Extreme frugality goes viral as influencer unveils his 2025 wildest money saving moves

A TikTok influencer has divided his massive audience after revealing his top cost saving tips for 2025.

‘Bradley on a Budget’, who is known for his extreme frugality, received a mixed reception when he highlighted his wildest money saving measures of 2025.

“I am frugal and will do anything to save money,” he said at the start of the now viral video with over 800k views.

The clip opened with what he labelled “Honourable mentions,” highlighting tactics that were “iconic but still missed the most frugal list”.

These included several instances such as using tape as a makeshift phone screen protector, cooking a one dollar pizza, and finding a nice mirror on dumpster diving adventures.

One of his top tips was celebrating birthday date “freebies,” while another featured a “free car wash” hack by simply waiting for heavy rain to do the job.

His seventh entry included eating with a broken plastic fork, followed by choosing the “cheapest motel for a speaking event,” acknowledging he risked his health for a low nightly rate.

“It was an experience and helped me keep more money in my pocket,” he said.

The list also included a $134 cruise ranked at number 3, and number 2 where he filtered motel tap water despite staying in a room he described as “mouldy”.

His number 1 moment shocked the platform, revealing a one dollar lasagna topped with tomato soup and maple sausage, a combination he described unbeatable for the budget.

“We still talk about the frugal lasagna till this day,” he said.

The comment section erupted instantly, blending humour with genuine concern.

“NEVER EVER get a used mirror please, why do people not know this?” one user wrote, horrified at some of his earlier honourable mentions.

“Dude, you can get a towel for like $3,” another argued.

A third viewer tried to appeal directly, writing, “OK, I understand frugal, but when it comes to your health don’t play, love!!”

Others were less diplomatic, with one labelling his year of savings “not frugal, that’s torture,” while another fan begged him to rethink, writing, “Bradley, I love the grind but PLEASE find a frugal way to afford health insurance.”
