Following the circulating of scam emails claiming to be from the Ministry of Health, regarding alleged financial reimbursements for healthcare services, the ministry has issued an alert.
“Fraudulent messages are circulating claiming to be from the Ministry of Health, claiming to be reimbursed for healthcare services. This is a phishing attempt: the Ministry does not send emails to provide reimbursements,” a message on social media reads.
“Do not click on links in messages, do not share personal or banking information, and delete the email immediately,” the ministry warns, explaining: “For reliable information, refer exclusively to the official channels of the Ministry of Health, your Region, and your local health authority.”
