At beam April meeting: How personal brand shapes your professional success

beam, UK association for business events, is set to host its Spring All Members Meeting on 28 April 2026 at The Cumberland London. It will bring together professionals from business events, travel and hospitality sectors – and is open to all beam members.

The association states that now is a time when many organisations in our world are experiencing similar problems, and that now is a time to get a picture of the wider landscape and hear what your peers are saying.

Chair of beam David Tremmil (pictured) said that the “mix of voices is what makes these events so powerful”.

Keynote on personal brand

A keynote by Max Fellows, founder of allpoints, will explore the importance of personal brands. “Max Fellows said: “Most people underestimate the impact of how they show up professionally. In reality, personal brand often shapes who gets trusted, who gets remembered and who gets the opportunity.”

The value of older, experienced players

The day will also include a session from Robert Kenward from Jigsaw Talent Solutions, focusing on the (perhaps overlooked) value of experienced team members and the important role they play in maintaining consistency, knowledge and long-term success within organisations.

As well as keynote sessions, beam reports that attendees will get updates on market trends, economic and legislative changes, and any updates that the beam board itself have to give.
