Lara Trump: US President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law suffers embarrassing AI photo fail at World Cup final

US President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law has suffered an embarrassing AI editing fail while attending the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday.

Lara Trump, who is married to Mr Trump’s second son Eric, attended the final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium near New York City with her husband and children.

In a photo posted to Instagram, Lara is pictured with six-year-old daughter Carolina and daughter Tiffany Trump in a private box, but the photo has since been ridiculed for looking digitally altered.

“What a blast!!!” Lara captioned the post.

Lara and Tiffany are both photographed with oversized sunglasses as Carolina sits on her mother’s lap.

However, the seemingly normal photo has come under fire for its apparently clumsy editing.

Lara’s hands appear warped and claw-like in the photograph, and her nails appear pixelated and blurry.

The child’s straw, which is presumably sticking out of a drink, also appears abnormally long.

Lara was happy to later admit her mistake on her Instagram stories, and claimed the digital alteration was a result of an AI program.

“When AI takes over,” Lara began.
