Meet Begonia and Dodge, this week’s CVAS pets of the week. These are just two of the amazing animals residing at area animal shelters.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons, in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.
Adoptions now take place by appointment only, and that has worked very well. Donors have also helped with supplies and money, something very necessary to provide for the shelter’s homeless animals.

Begonia
Begonia came into the shelter as a stray and we’ve discovered she is quite a talker! Look at that face! Doesn’t it seem like she has something to say? Begonia is a 3-year-old all black girl who loves attention. Could you show her what a forever home is all about?
Dodge
Dodge is all puppy that does not quite know how big he is. He will need someone that understands the time and patience that goes into training a puppy. Dodge is a 10-month-old mixed breed who came into the shelter as a stray. He loves to run and loves to play with the balls in the play yard!
